City Art prints
The Art Cities were born from Nicoline's youthful fascination with maps . As a child she collected them, crazy about the colours and shapes. That love for cartography is reflected in her unique prints.
Each city print starts with hand-drawn lines and shapes, inspired by different maps that Nicoline places on top of each other. The result? A captivating image that sometimes seems a bit abstract, but if you look closely, you recognize the city and its infrastructure . Sometimes she uses up to five different maps for one print, making it a mix between a map and an abstract artwork.
Fantasy prints
Since we have children, there is no limit to the fantasy at Studio Lilaline. Together with our little ones , who have an incredible imagination , we create enchanting images that only seem to be possible in dreams or stories. Sometimes we let the children take a large part of the direction themselves. "No mom, that dinosaur shouldn't be green, but pink!" But when the evening falls and the children are in bed, our own imagination continues. We then dream further about swimming whales that serve as a means of transport or about stomping dinosaurs with cakes on their backs .
